Our Function Room ~ The little secret upstairs.


Seamus O'Toole Irish Pub has an elegant function room situated on the second floor of the venue. This area boasts it's own private bar, plasma screen TV, and can be furnished to suit both sit down dinner parties as well as standing functions. The team at Seamus O’Toole can tailor your function specifically to your requirements.

Room Hire - $440
Includes - Bar tender and room hire for 5 hours.

Additional hours are charged at a rate of $110 per hour, up to and including closing time. Additional hours can be negotiated with our functions manager at the time of booking.

Night time non-dining functions require security. One security guard will need to be provided for the first 70 guests, an additional guard must be attending for every 50 guests thereafter. Security guards can be hired at a rate of $45 per hour (GST incl. 4 hour minimum).

A minimum of 40 people must be attending your gathering in order to hire the upstairs function room. Exceptions to this rule can occur at non-peak times and at our booking manager's discretion. Peak times include Friday and Saturday nights and the eve of all public holidays.

A 50% deposit must be paid within 7 days of making a booking. This deposit is non-refundable if your function is cancelled within 28 days of the function date.

Decorations - Depending on your requirements, decorations start at $100.

Seamus O'Toole Irish Pub has a kitchen that can provide your function guests with a wide selection of finger food at prices to suit your budget. From delicate canapés to sushi and mini dim sims, we can appeal to any taste.

Choose from our range of platters on the right or talk to our functions co-ordinator for any special requests. All prices are per platter. We recommend one platter for every 7 to 10 people. A minimum of 20 persons per function is required.

The team at Seamus O’Toole can tailor your function specifically to your requirements. If you have any special requests, our Chefs are more than happy to cater to your needs. Specific dietary requests can be arranged with due notice.

Home made cakes and specialty desserts are available upon request.

Seamus O’Toole’s Irish Pub can cater for breakfast conferences from 9am, 7 days a week. Have your conference in the privacy of our upstairs function room, complete with a private bar and a full HD plasma screen with laptop and video support for all of your presentations.

BOOKINGS

To confirm your booking, a 50% deposit is required within 7 days. Tentative bookings will be held for 7 days only. All tentative bookings not confirmed within 7 days will then be made available to be booked by other guests.

FINAL NUMBERS

To enable us to correctly cater for your function, final numbers and menu choices must be confirmed at least 5 days prior to your function. This is the minimum number of guests for which you will be charged. Any additional numbers will be charged accordingly on the night.

PAYMENT

Payment for the function must be settled on or before the function date. Seamus O’Toole’s Irish Pub accepts payment by cash, visa, or mastercard. Cheques will not be accepted.

CANCELLATIONS

In the event that a confirmed booking is cancelled, the deposit is non-refundable unless a minimum of 28 days notice has been given, or the function has been confirmed for a later date.

LICENSING

Guests under the age of 18 are permitted to be on the Hotel premises when in the company of an adult but must vacate by 9pm. Liquor must not under any circumstances be supplied to a minor. Staff will refuse to serve alcohol to any guests unable to show suitable proof of age ID e.g. – Proof of age card, Drivers License or Passport.

Management and staff practice Responsible Service of Alcohol and thus reserve the right to refuse service to anyone showing anti social behavior.

RESPONSIBILITY

Organisers are financially responsible for any damage or breakage sustained to the Hotel by The organizer or any of their guests. Management at Seamus O’Toole’s Irish Pub will not accept any responsibility for loss or damage to personal effects left within the Hotel during or after the function.

CLEANING

General cleaning is included in the cost of your function, however if cleaning requirements are excessive, additional charges will be incurred at the expense of the person who made the initial booking.
